Do your kids hate to eat their veggies? According to a new study by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, giving ordinary veggies kid friendly names can help encourage healthy eating habits.

186 four-year-olds were given regular carrots and, on other lunch days, they were given the same vegetables renamed X-ray Vision Carrots. On the latter days, they ate nearly twice as many.
The study suggests the influence of these names might persist.
Children continued to eat about 50 percent more carrots even on the days when they were no longer labeled as anything special.
The research occurred in pre-schools but scientists think it would work equally well at home. So the next time veggies are on the menu try serving Dinosaur Broccoli Trees, Power Peas, or Super X-Ray Vision carrots!

My son liked Petit Choux – Little Cabbages – Brussel Sprouts!
My kids love tiny artichokies . . . but, I must openingly admit, that my son will eat any vegetable he can dip. In Nutella.
Do I feel guilty?
For a minute, I do, until I watch my song eat a carrot that is longer than his head.
