Did you know that in 95 percent of all emergencies, bystanders are the first people available to help on the scene? At home or out and about, a first aid emergency can be a highly stressful event.
Remembering how to perform first aid steps and proper care necessary in an emergency can not only be nerve wracking for professionals, but also for parents and siblings untrained in first aid or CPR.
We all know having a first aid kit in our homes is a necessity, but having one that provides an audio recording to guide you through the proper steps can be vital.
Intelligent First Aid kits are designed by medical and educational experts to assist in providing rapid and accurate first aid care in the event of an injury. The Talking First Aid™ kit from Intelligent First Aid is the only product of its kind that provides first aid supplies with audio instructions to help you in an emergency. With the press of a button, an audio begins to talk you through the steps of treating anything from a bee sting to performing CPR while waiting for help to arrive. It’s like having a doctor right there with you!
Intelligent First Aid strongly believes in the importance of families having not only a first aid kit, but also the right one, that’s why they are giving Blissfully Domestic readers a chance to win the most intelligent safety & first aid kit available.
The Kit comes with Talking Care Packs for Breathing/CPR, Bleeding, Shock Care, Head & Spine Care, Bone Care, Eye Care, Burn Care, Bites & Stings Care, Basic First Aid. It also comes with a full color guide book, the Talking product manual, and a flashlight/book light, and all the supplies you need in a first aid emergency. Basically, this kit will tell you what you need to do in all of these emergency situations!

From the FAQS I learned this:
Do any of the medical products in the Care Packs have expiration dates?
The only items with expiration dates are the eyewash in the Eye Pack, sting relief in the Bites & Stings Pack and the antibiotic ointment in the Basics Pack. You can locate these dates on the item itself and on the outside of the pack. When the item expires, it is strongly recommended that you replace the entire Care Pack to ensure you have an updated, complete pack.

This is such a wonderful idea. For us, having kids, cuts are the most common. I’d really love to win this for my parents. Recently, my mom who walks with a walker, had fallen and cut her leg very badly in the middle of the night. She takes a blood thinner and was bleeding very badly. My father, took towels and had her cover her leg. He called me (I live a few houses away) and I called 911 and ran over to the house. She had to go by ambulance to the emergency room for them to stitch up her leg.
This First Aid kit would be wonderful for them.
Thanks so much for this giveaway.

Falls are most common in senior households
I learned: It is strongly advised that first aid kits become a staple of all homes, schools and workplaces. The most at-risk for not having a first aid kit are homes or locations with children or older adults, as those age groups are the most prone to injury. Another prime target for first aid kits are residents of communities that can’t provide immediate access to emergency services. Regardless, the reality is that first aid kits should be readily available despite the situation or location. Safety must always come first.
The most common injury in this house is very bad scrapes. Packed stone driveway. It grips well, but doesn’t stop feet getting tangled. Then it grips skin well.
What a great product. Thank you for the fun giveaway!

I think falls are probably the most common household accident but my most feared is choking. I am always so nervous about my little ones choking. It seems like no matter how many times I pick up or vacuum there are always little things to be found (especially from the bigger kids).
Great giveaway! This product would really put my mind at ease!!
Children & older adults are the most prone to injuries.

Great product, thanks for letting me know about. In our family falling is the most common, but if it’s me… burns, I tend to not use proper oven mitts…
Falls are certainly the most common in this house with a wobbly 11 month old. I also am concerned about bathtub incidents even though she is never unattended there.
I would guess that the most common household accidents (for seniors) would be falls in the home
One common mistake in first aid treatment: when covering a bleeding wound with gauze to stop the bleeding, keep adding more gauze as needed, but don’t remove the old gauze – leave it there! Removing the old gauze starts the bleeding anew and you defeat your own purpose in stopping the bleeding.
For children, I think the most common household accident would be concerned with ingesting harmful or even poisonous substances in the home.
Something very interesting I learned in the FAQ is that when treating an eye injury, it is important to cover the uninjured eye so that the injured eye rests because I guess that moving your good eye will cause you to move the injured eye.
Falling is the most common household accident.
cuts are most common
Falls are #1
