What?!? Stress? With multiples? Surely not.
Multiples come with extra mouths to feed, bottoms to diaper, kisses to enjoy, and yes…stress to manage. Chances are, you’ve had to restructure most everything about your life. What once was a formal dining room ready for impromptu dinner parties may have morphed into a makeshift nursery overflow area. Your beautifully decorated master suite may now look like the baby emporium. And those relaxing nights spent snuggling with your husband while you watched TV or listened to some great music? Well…those are probably not going to happen again for quite some time.
So how do you adjust? How do you cope with the high levels of new stress that have been heaped upon you?
Parenting Weekly offers some great advice. Read all about it in Multiple Births and Overcoming Stress.
And good luck!
