I love pillows.  LOVE them.  I sleep surrounded by pillows, snuggling and propped up all night.   My kids seem to have inherited my love of all things snuggly.  I’ve tried all kinds of pillows…from down to buckwheat to noodles and six foot monsters.

When I had the opportunity to review the Mumoocie Body Pillow, I jumped on the chance.  The Mumoocie proved not only to be an amazing pillow for me cozying up to for sleeping, but also one my kids enjoy.  And by enjoy, I mean fight over.  And by my kids, I mean me.

My Mumoocie (a.k.a. Mum Pillow) is constructed of a high quality memory foam (also available in fiber and super dense foam) and is a curved shape designed for multiple snuggling positions for both children and adults.  I’ve curled around it, as have my young kids and we were all happy spooners.  The foam conforms to any body shape without sacrificing support.

The shape also works very well to support a back (the spoonee); I can imagine it would be wonderful while pregnant for this, or to tuck behind a child who is used to falling asleep with a parent.

The Mumoocie has some unexpected features that make it even more special and unique.  It retains heat and scents, providing a sense of comfort and protection for little ones who have a hard time sleeping on their own (okay, for anyone).  It also has a hidden mini voice recorder that it tucked away in the foam; with the press of one button that can be accessed through the cover, your own customized recording is available.  My littlest child finds the familiarity of her family’s voice especially comforting.
