I love when people tell me my children are beautiful (because they are, of course, and I’m not even slightly biased) but nothing makes me prouder than to be told they have good manners.
Teaching children to use good manners is not an easy feat, especially when much of the world around them seems to place very little value on manners. But parents of young children today can begin a REVOLUTION!
We can bring back polite!
More4Kids recently published an excellent article on Teaching Manners. From table manners to thank-you notes, they provide helpful tips for parents who are up for the challenge of raising polite children. Check it out and join the revolution!

Thanks for the post and link! I agree that manners and just being kind to others is so important. I try very hard to instill these values into my kids, but it can be a tough one!
Great article topic and post! My husband and I do not currently have any children but always make it a point to praise parents who have clearly raises, respectful, well-mannered children. Sadly, these types of children seem to be few and far between as parents struggle to keep up with daily life and neglect discipline often times.
My parents raised me to be respectful, polite and well mannered. Thanks to both of them, I feel I have a good basis for our own children one day, and it even inspired to write a blog all about manners, class, etiquette and the like.
