Once my triplets were able to really “play,” I set up a rotating play area for them. In order to keep the babies from getting bored with one thing, I had each baby at a separate station and would rotate them after short intervals. It kept them stimulated and aided in developing various skills.
Want to set up your own rotating play area for your multiples? Here are some great items to include:
- swing
- exersaucer
- jumparoo
- floor gym mat
- tummy time mat
- bouncy seat
- play yard with small toys
- blanket spread on floor with soft cloth blocks
- mommy or daddy’s lap for peek-a-boo or reading or singing
This rotation was a key to keeping my sanity, too.
What are some things that worked for you with your multiples?
