We learned early on that our triplets can work together to find trouble. Trouble that would likely elude just one of them on his/her own.
When they could barely walk, I heard some jabbering in hallway outside of the nursery and walked in to find them working out what appeared to be a very well-orchestrated plan for breaking into the bathroom. One son was holding an upside-down laundry basket steady while another son stood on top of it jiggling the doorknob to the bathroom. My daughter was obviously the look-out. When she saw me rounding the corner by the baby gate, she started squealing loudly.
Nice.
I knew it then…we were doomed. Outnumbered. Outwitted. Outdone.
Their schemes have become more sophisticated over the years. The results have become messier. But in spite of my rants and raves when they get themselves into these little predicaments, I’m secretly proud of their teamwork. I think it’s a trait that will come in quite handy for them later in life.

What have your multiples gotten into together? Remember…laughter is the best medicine.
