If you love pets like I love pets, chances are you’ve already heard of Mimi Ausland and her idea for feeding pets in shelters across the nation. If not, read on!

Mimi started Free Kibble in April of last year and the idea is super-easy (on our part, not hers). You simply go to the website, every day if you like, and play Bow Wow Trivia. For every trivia question that gets answered, they donate 10 pieces of kibble to shelters across the nation.

Today’s question was “What was the name and breed of the dog that played Toto in the Wizard of Oz?”

Since I have Cairn terriers (though they’re wheaten-colored and not black like Toto) and since the Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies from childhood, that one was easy for me. But it really doesn’t matter – those 10 pieces of kibble get donated whether I answer correctly or not!
