When I go outside this time of year I really can’t help but be excited about summer. My garden spaces are happy and producing and soon I will have lots of fresh veggies to pick. These veggies are not only easy to grow, but simple to prepare for the barbecue grill. Here’s some tips on some of the easiest veggies to grow and the easiest ways to grill them.
Here is a great idea if you are entertaining a crowd! Make a fun basket out of a hollowed out watermelon! I love this because there are less dishes and more reduce-reuse involved. Thanks Brannan-Sirratt!

I recently discovered the joy that is grilled marinated flank steak. We’ve always been big fajita fans, but in the past I would cook pre-cut strips of steak in a pan on the stove. That was, until a few months ago when my brother-in-law suggested trying grilled flank steak in our fajitas. And, now? There’s no turning back! This flank steak marinade will make you a true believer too.
