August is National Peaches Month.
Just imagine, an entire month dedicated to those soft, fuzzy skinned delicious fruits. If you’ve ever had a perfectly ripe peach, you know that there’s nothing like it.
The juice bursts into your mouth when your teeth break the skin. They’re sweet with just a hint of a tang adn they’re almost irresistible.
This time of year, farmer’s markets, orchards and even grocery store shelves are bursting with ripe peaches.
Just walk through the produce section and the scent will draw you in, press their flesh slightly and your mouth starts watering.
I don’t think I could ever get tired of noshing on fresh peaches, but if you happen to be lucky enough to have an abundance of peaches, or are just looking for some things to do with peaches:
