Hey y’all.
I have something really exciting that I want to tell y’all about!
For the month of February, I have teamed up with the American Egg Board – the folks behind the “incredible edible egg” – to share recipes, tips, nutritional information and all things ‘eggscellent’ and ‘eggsciting’ I know, I know but how could I not?
I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite recipes, such as, Migas, Mini Frittatas, BEST sandwiches along with fun facts and tips, health information and more!
For example:
Did you know that there are only 70 calories in a large egg? Holla to all my people who like me, are watching what they eat and still trying to get delicious food! YAY EGGS!
Did you know that eggs are a fabulous source of all-natural, high-quality protein? Do you know what that means? It means that eggs help you to feel fuller longer and provide sustained energy throughout the day.
There’s recent research that shows that eating eggs for breakfast as part of a reduced-calorie diet can help adults feel energized and better able to manage weight. To quote my 5 year old “That’s what I’m talkin’ about”
These are just a few teasing glimpses of the fun that we’re going to have over the next month while we learn, enjoy, eat and share all the goodness that eggs can provide.
OH! Did I mention that there would be videos? Because there will be.
Video recipes, featuring Princess, Monkey and Me. Oh yes, you’re going to be able to snicker at my drawl and ooh and ahhh at the cuteness of my kids while we share some of our favorite egg related recipes.
If that wasn’t enough, the American Egg Board just launched a new ad campaign featuring real “Incredible People” who have incredible mind and body skills. And, there’s a new part of their website where you can share your own “incredible” stories. More on that soon. So see, that right there is worth subscribing and staying tuned to see what Blissfully Delish and The American Egg Board have in store.
