Watching your waistline, but still want to be able to enjoy some delicious food? Then we already have something in common!
I’m Mel and I’m a Weight Watcher. I recently lost over 40 pounds using the Weight Watchers Online program. I used the flex point system to track what I was eating throughout the day. I’m not gonna lie and say it was the easiest thing I ever did, but I did it. One of the biggest beliefs of Weight Watchers is that it isn’t a diet, but a way of life and it is so true. This past summer I decided to take a break from counting points and give my body time to adjust to its “new” weight. I’m thrilled to report that I have maintained my weight by taking the time to think about what I was eating and subconsciously counting points. This fall I will be rejoining Weight Watchers online to lose my last 20 pounds and reach my goal weight.
I am so excited to join Blissfully Domestic as a Weight Watcher Food Diva. I will be sharing some recipes that I have tried and found to be yummy, but are also low in points. Need a quick dinner, delicious dessert, or simple snack that is Weight Watcher friendly? Then I’m your gal!
If you find yourself looking for something special leave me a comment to let me know and I will do my best to find the recipes to meet your needs.

YAY Mel, I’m so excited you are doing this! I’ve been on WW since 5/13 and lost 13#.
What a wonderful addition! Inspires me to get my butt back to Weight Watchers
Oh I am SO happy you are here! I lost 35# doing WW with some friends after my daughter two years ago and now, after my son I’m doing the online and am finding it REALLY hard since my support system is gone.
Welcome, Mel! I am glad you’ve joined BD. I have done WW in the past, and still track my points to sense check my meal choices. I am also re-reading “French Women Don’t Get Fat” this summer and find it to be another wonderful resource.
Looking forward to more of your posts!
Steph
Congrats to you!!!
Hi Mel, nice to meet you! I am excited about your posts, and just visited your blog as well. I have been very interested in Weight Watchers and have been considering joining…except I’ll have to wait about 6 months until I am done being pregnant with Baby #2! Then, I am hoping Weight Watchers will help me to lose that baby weight! I am still learning about the program so I look forward to hearing all that you have to share!
woohoo! I’ve been considering it, too…
My SIL lost over 100# with WW a few years back and has kept it off — it works!
Thanks for all the warm welcomes! It is great to know that there are people out there going through the same things you are. I hope together we can find some tasty recipes to help us stay on plan!!
