What are some things you want more of? Maybe some more sleep or rest? How about some more vacation? Definitely more chocolate, right? And, more face-to-face time with your friends who live your in computer? 3 Musketeers recently surveyed 1,ooo people and found that yes indeed, people want more sleep, more vacation, more chocolate and definitely more time with friends.

Earlier this year, 3 Musketeers reformulated their classic candy bar to have more chocolate flavor than before. OK, one down 3 to go. Now how could 3 Musketeers give people more of want they want? Well I’m here to tell you that they came up with a really fun way to do just that.

Over the past several weeks, 3 Musketeers has been hosting “Like-Up”s across the country where social media friends are able to get together and reconnect (more time face-to-face time with friends) and have a chance at fun prizes like SpaFinder gift cards (more sleep/rest), airline vouchers (more vacay) and big baskets of 3 Musketeers candy bars (more chocolate)! I was fortunate to get to co-host one such event in Nashville last week with three of my social media friends: Elizabeth from Busy Mom, Chris from the Nashville Scene and Kas from Southern Bella’s Ways to Save.

The Nashville “Like-Up” was held at the Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, a very fine establishment and great choice for this event. Delicious hors d’oeuvres were served and drinks were plentiful. There was also a 3 Musketeers inspired dessert – mini trifles served in shot glasses. They were quite divine! About halfway through the evening, we had the pleasure of awarding those prizes mentioned earlier. It was a great treat to be able to give our friends some fabulous gifts!
I definitely appreciated the opportunity to spend time with friends and make new connections as well. More face-to-face time is high on my “more of” list! I often interact with my Nashville blog and social media buddies on Twitter and Facebook but we don’t often see each other in person. (In fact, before the “Like-Up”, the last time Elizabeth and I had seen each other was at BlogHer in San Diego and we live less than 20 minutes away from each other!)

I’ve always been quite amazed at by all the people from Nashville I’ve had the opportunity to meet, that I may not have otherwise ever known, because of connections made through blogging. Thank you 3 Musketeers for bringing our Nashville social media friends all together again for a much needed evening of food, fun, prizes and CHOCOLATE! And thank you for taking the time to give people more of want they want!
