A Wedding is definitely an event that calls for celebration. Whether your event has an open bar, or just a punch bowl; have your guests toasting in style with these fun refreshing signature drinks.
Non-Alcoholic Drinks:
Mock Champagne: Champagne instantly elevates any event. There are so many brands and options, but for a non-alcoholic version try this recipe.
Ingredients
• Apple Juice, chilled
• Ginger-Ale, chilled
Preparation
1. Combine equal parts apple juice and ginger-ale in a large punch bowl just before serving.
2. Serve in champagne flutes.
Sparkling Cranberry Tea
Ingredients:
• 1/2 Cup Instant Tea
• 2 Cups water
• 2 Liters Lemon or Lime flavored Sparkling water
• 4 Cups Cranberry Juice Cocktail
Preparation:
1. Combine tea and 2 Cups water in a large mixing bowl, stir until completely dissolved.
2. Add cranberry juice
3. Add. Lemon or lime sparkling water; mix gently.
4. Serve immediately over ice.
Can be served from a punch bowl, with cranberry lime ice ring.
Baby Bellini: As in the Bellini, peach juice or puree can also be used; A Fresh & Fruity drink with none of the alcohol and an added touch of elegance.
Ingredients:
• 2 oz peach nectar
• chilled sparkling cider
Preparation:
1. Pour the peach nectar into a champagne flute.
2. Slowly add the sparkling cider.
Alcoholic:
Jalapeño Pineapple Margarita: One of my summer time favorites, adds an unexpected spice to an afternoon wedding.
Ingredients:
• 4 oz. tequila
• 2 oz triple sec
• 4 oz pineapple juice
• ¼ jalapeno, seeded and minced
• Crushed ice
• Lime slices (optional garnish)
Preparation
1. Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. S
2. Shake vigorously until blended.
3. Pour into a salted Margarita glass. Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
Note: To serve in salt-rimmed glasses, rub a lime wedge around rims of glasses. Spread 1 teaspoon margarita or sea salt on a small plate. Place glass, rim side down, on salt; turn to coat rim.
Sparkling Cranberry Tea Cocktail
Ingredients
• 4 Cups water
• 1/2 Cup sugar
• 2 family-sized tea bags
• 2 1/2 Cups no-sugar-added cranberry juice
• 1 Cup vodka
• 1/4 Cup Grand Marnier (orange-flavored liqueur)
• 4 Cups ginger ale, chilled
• Orange slices (optional)
Preparation:
1. Combine 4 cups water and sugar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Pour over tea bags. Cover and let stand 5 minutes; discard tea bags. Cool. Stir in juice, vodka, and Grand Marnier; chill.
2. Gently stir in ginger ale. Serve over ice; garnish with orange slice.
Bellini: A great way to add a fun punch of flavor to the elegance of champagne makes a great drink for any wedding reception.
Ingredients:
• 2 oz peach nectar
• 4 oz. Champagne (chilled)
Preparation:
1. Pour the peach nectar into a champagne flute.
2. Slowly add the champagne.
3. Serve immediately.
