These yummy treats are fun to make and eat at Christmas time!
- 2 boxes of Candy Canes
- 1 bag of Marshmallows
- 3 bags of Chocolate Wafers to melt (one bag of each: red, green and white)
Directions:
1) Melt each color of chocolate wafers in microwave (time will vary depending on the temperature your microwave cooks at.) I usually microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Continue until melted completely smooth.
2) Use a skewer (sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray) to poke holes into 2-3 marshmallows.
3) Slide the marshmallows onto a candy cane.
4) Dip the marshmallow part of your treat into one color of the melted chocolate wafers.
5) Allow chocolate to harden.
6) Use a spoon to drizzle the other two colors over the hardened chocolate.
Angie’s Tips:
- An Exacto knife works great for peeling the plastic off of each candy cane. Just split the plastic along the “spine” and peel back gently.
- I usually buy extras of everything so that I have enough even if my kids sneak a few treats while we’re making them!
