Did you read that title? Creamy Onion Garlic Bread. I probably don’t have to say much else to convince you try this recipe, do I?
This bread is just plain amazing. It is full of great garlic flavor, it’s so rich and creamy, and you can freeze it so that you always have it on hand. Seriously, this bread is to die for.

The topping is made of cream cheese, mayo, butter, garlic, garlic powder, green onions, and parmesan cheese. I’m pretty sure it’d be impossible to go wrong with a list of ingredients like that! Best of all, it takes no time at all to saute the green onions and garlic and the butter and cream cheese whip right up in a stand mixer.

This recipe makes enough for one loaf of french bread cut in half lengthwise. One half loaf is perfect for my family of four, so I freeze the other loaf for another day and it tastes just as yummy after being frozen!

This bread works well with a salad for lunch or alongside some spaghetti for dinner! Or, you know, just as a snack. Or dessert! I’m sure it’d make a great dessert!
In case you haven’t noticed, I love garlic bread.
Creamy Onion Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
Loaf of french bread
4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic
2 bunches green onions
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste
parsley, for garnish
1. Finely dice the green onions and garlic. Drizzle a large pan with olive oil and saute onions and garlic for 1-2 minutes, until garlic is soft and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together cream cheese, butter and mayonnaise. Mix in parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
3. Pour in the onion and garlic mixture and stir together with the cheese mixture.
4. Slice the french bread in half lengthwise and spread the cut side of the bread with the mixture.
5. Bake in a pre-heated 400 degree oven for 5-10 minutes, until the top is slightly browned and the bread is a bit crunchy.
If freezing, place loaf uncovered in freezer for 30 minutes. Remove and cover with foil. Wrap well to prevent freezer burn! When ready to use, bake straight from the freezer at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
