Suz says: I love this recipe because within 30 minutes I can have something homemade, warm and filling on the table.
Skillet Macaroni & Cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 Tbsp flour
1 (8 oz.) package macaroni
3 1/2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar
1. Melt butter in skillet. Stir in flour. Add macaroni and milk. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer until pasta is tender (about 15 minutes). Stir occasionally. Add cheese; stir until melted (don’t boil).
2. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne, etc., and serve.

Yum! I love comfort food and mac & cheese from scratch is always better than from a box! Thanks for sharing.

There’s nothing better than mac n cheese.
Thanks for the simple recipe! I’ve never heard of doing it in a skillet before, but I’ll definitely have to try it.
Yum, sounds good and easy. Plus I bet it’s great with other cheeses as well. I will definitely add this to my recipe box.
Mac cheese is one of my favorite food groups! What a great recipe Suz! I cannot wait to try this!
Thanks Suz! I made this for dinner last night and it took no more time than making it from a box and was SO much tastier! (It was so good I ate it for breakfast too!)
