Have you ever been to one of those fancy-pants expensive restaurants that serves fresh roasted garlic with their bread instead of butter? Ever wondered *how do they do that?* Well, guess what? It’s incredibly easy. It’s good for you. And it tastes divine.
Just follow these simple steps to wow the guests at your next dinner party. (Or keep it all for yourself, like I do).
-
Roasting Garlic – Ingredients!
- Garlic cloves
- Olive oil
-
Roasting Garlic – Directions!
- Remove garlic cloves from papery outside and place on a sheet of foil, folded in half.
- Sprinkle olive oil over cloves (enough to lightly coat), rotate cloves so they’re coated on all sides.
- Make an envelope from the foil, sealing the ends well.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. (I like to use my toaster oven!)
- Remove cloves (carefully!) from foil packet, snip the ends and squeeze out the roasted garlic.
- Enjoy!!!
-
Roasting Garlic – Ideas!
- Spread on fresh bread.
- Incorporate into soups.
- Eat like candy (trust me, it’s SO good!)
