Chicken thighs are a budget lifesaver for busy families. However certain people, and I’m looking straight into the mirror on this one, don’t care for dark meat.
What do you do when you have white meat tastes and a dark meat budget? That’s easy. You find recipes that dial the flavor up. Way up…
1. Caramelized Garlic and Brown Sugar Chicken Thighs
2. Easy Chili Honey Chicken Thigh Recipe
The next one is written for chicken pieces, but it’s a simple swap to use only chicken thighs.
3. Chicken Thighs Marinated in Balsamic and Roasted
4. Fried Chicken Thighs Marinated in Homemade Italian Dressing (this has a bonus recipe for Italian Dressing)

5. Boneless Chicken Thighs with Shallots and Garlic
6. Garlic and Soy Chicken Thighs
7. Oven Fried Chicken Thigh Recipe
8. In case you’re worried, any recipe for chicken leg quarters can be used for chicken thighs. Such as this recipe for grilled pineapple chicken thighs.
9. Tequila Lime Chicken Thighs
I may have saved the best for last

10. Stuffed Chicken Thighs
What if you’re too cheap to buy boneless chicken thighs? Well, I have a tutorial for how to remove a chicken thigh bone handy. You expected less?
Do you know what would make this list even better? If you added your favorite recipe for chicken thighs. Feel free to link in the comments.

Thanks for all the ideas! I am such a chicken snob… boneless skinless breasts please; but man the thighs are much more budget friendly. And tend to go on sale/special more often. I especially love the oven fried thighs! Might even try them out tonight!!
I’m a total chicken snob, too, and try to only buy boneless, skinless breasts. However, when I do buy thighs, I find that they’re wonderful in chicken noodle soup!
Oh, what timing. Chicken thighs are on sale at 78cents a pound. I’m ready to stock up.
