The Iron Queen is the latest installment of Julie Kagawa’s Iron Fey series. The first in the series, The Iron King, debut author Julie Kagawa introduced a new, evolved order of faery. In less than twenty-four hours Meghan Chase will be sixteen. Countless stories, songs and poems have been written about this magical age but Meghan suspects that it won’t be that way for her. After all, Meghan has a secret destiny—one she could never have imagine.
In The Iron Daughter, Kagawa explores love and betrayal in a faery world full of chaos. A half faery princess, half human girl becomes a pivotal part of a deadly conflict between two warring factions of faery.
The winds of war gather in Kagawa’s newest novel, The Iron Queen. Meghan Chase thought they’d left Faery behind forever, but pressing matters cause the three exiles to be summoned to war. A new alliance is made, along with a few contracts, of course, and Meghan, half Summer faery princess, half human, is pressed to choose Fey over her mortal beginnings. Will she abandon her human heart for an iron will that will help her survive? For as Meghan can confirm—in real life, unlike books, faery tales don’t necessarily have happy endings.

you have to go back about 30 years to find MY favorite series… The Belgariod…
more recently, though… I’d have to say The Hunger Games
I haven’t read anything by this particular author yet but this looks like an interesting series. Thanks for the chance to win it. My own personal favorite series, to date, is Karen Marie Moning’s Fever Series, a magical series much like this one.
WOW! I love this series, but I haven’t read the third one, and I don’t own them. Thank goodness for the library huh? As far as my favorite series ever, thats a hard choice. I think I have to choose Mercedes Lackey’s Valdemar series. Great fantasy fiction. Pure fun to read. I own every one of her books and they are re read constantly. I have to put a close second as Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. Such fun so witty and darkly humerous. Such a brilliant writer. Ok. That’s two. I should stop now. Or I’ll just go on and on. THanks for such a great giveaway!
OOOO! This is extremely hard! Umm… I’d have to say that Unearthly by Cynthia Hand is my favorite non-finished series, even though I’ve only read the first book, and Kelley Armstrong’s Darkest Powers series is my finished favorite.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Well, Harry Potter is the obvious answer for me. Loved them – even the ones with too much Quidditch. If that’s my middle grade series pick (though arguably YA towards the end of the series), my YA pick would have to be The Hunger Games, because even though I felt like the series got weaker with each book, they were all pretty fabulous. Adult series? Maybe the Hercule Poirot books by Agatha Christie? Not necessarily a series, but still amazing. And for graphic novels my favorite series would have to be Y: The Last Man – so good – wish there were more!
I have several favorites. The Anita Blake series, TMI & ID series, Blue Bloods, and Patricia Briggs Mercy series, and Kim Harrison’s Rachel series.
I love your blog design!! Thanks for the giveaway
My favorite series would have to be the Personal Demons series by Lisa Desrochers. It is so amazing, I highly recommend this series!!
Thanks again!

I have several favorites: The Lord of the Rings, Black Jewels, Gemma Doyle, Iron Fey, Mortal Instruments, Wicked, etc.
But my ultimate favorite would be the Harry Potter series. Seriously. I did not mind paying a lot to get my hands on these books the day they were published (I reserved them beforehand). And I seriously freak out whenever one of the lot was looking a tad bit forlorn because of the carelessness of some borrowers.
The Harry Potter books made me believe in magic, taught me lessons, honed my imagination and made me wish every year (even if I wasn’t eleven anymore) that I would get a letter inviting me to study at a magical school.
Hi !
I am french, can I participate ?
So, my favorite book series is : The Mortal Intruments by Cassandra Clare. It is so difficult to make a choice because many, many count a lot for me, but a month ago, a friend spoke about this series. I was not convinced that I will love these books, but I fell in love with characters, with the story and so on. Now, I am waiting the next book with great impatience.
But, if I have to make a choice among “Adult-books”, I will probably take a series written by Greg Keyes or in an other genre Maxime Chattam.
Thank you for this giveamay !
Right now I am reading and really enjoying the series “The Alchemyst: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel”
I read so many great series books, that’s a tough question to answer. The Hunger Games were incredible and I’m really loving Lisa Lutz’ Spellman Files series! I’d love to read these books, they alook really good!
Ufff. Picking a favorite series is extremely difficult… And I have a favorite within each genre.
In this particular genre, and not wanting to simply follow global trends, I would have to say it’s Harry Potter. While I find the writing very juvenile and lacking expertise, the plot is involving and the story compelling!
Cheers.
My favorite series is the In Death series by J.D. Robb.
My favorite book series of all time is His Dark Materials (Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, and Amber Spyglass). These are the most beautifully imagined, gorgeously written books I’ve ever read. And they had me scratching my head long after I read them (for the first time), contemplating snippets of string theory that are WAY over my head. I love Pullman. I am obsessed actually. If I were on his continent, he might consider a restraining order.
I really enjoyed the Attolia series!
And this just might become a favorite. I’ve read the first book and am waiting until all of the series is published to finish reading it.
My favorite series is Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time.
I would have to say my favorite is Harry Potter – I love books that I can really get into
My favorite series is Harry Potter. I’m currently reading through the Outlander series and I’m very much enjoying it. I’m also very partial to the Little House series. I read through that one with my daughter a few years ago and she still pulls them out and re-reads them from time to time.
I have to admit, Harry Potter or Twilight. But my son and I are starting the Artemis Fowl series and it is alot of fun reading it with him.
I would have to say my favorite book series is the Harry Potter series. Yes, I’m 44 and I enjoyed them immensely.
I just started reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and am really enjoying that. Maybe the Millenium series will be another favorite ??
I really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series. I also really like Harry Potter.
Love Andrew Peterson’s Wingdeather Saga.
I am currently reading the Redemption Series by Karen Kingsbury, it’s a good one!
I love the Mitford series by Jan Karon!
I have to say that my favorite book series is House of Night because it deals with so many real and non real things. like teenage love and turning into a vampire
I’m gonig to have to say my favorite series is the “Southern Vampire” (Sookie Stackhouse) books, but theses sound like an interesting read.
I loved the Twilight series and Harry Potter. I would love to add this one to my list.
Thanks

My favorite series is a tie between Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy series and MaryJanice Davidson’s Undead/Queen Betsy series.
