Mother’s day crafts and activities typically need adult involvement so the activity and the final product comes as no big surprise. We get the warm fuzzy feeling because our little ones made it for us but we know it’s coming. This is an easy mother’s day food activity that kids will love to make because they can raid the fridge and make it themselves. It’s also somewhat healthy although it’s easy to make it totally decadent depending on what you have in the cupboard.

Ingredients: Greek yogurt with honey, dried dates, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries and your favourite granola. Plus a long slim glass or small dessert dish.
- Stir the yogurt so it can be spooned into a long glass or dessert glass.
- Drop a few berries to line the bottom.
- Spoon on yogurt to cover the berries
- If you have another coloured berry place on top.
- Spoon on last layer of yogurt.
- Drop a teaspoon of dried dates
- Drop a teaspoon of granola
- Add a berry and 1/4 strawberry for decoration.
Serve with a long spoon. Handy anytime of the day from breakfast to snack.
There you go a sweet and yummy Mother’s day treat.
