One of the most popular crafts around now is embroidery. There are more cool, hip patterns and uses for embroidery and decorative stitching than you can imagine!
Jenny Hart has revolutionizedthe world of embroidery with her stylish, humorous patterns – from the beginner to the advanced stitcher, Jenny’s Sublime Stitching patterns and book will change the way you see embroidery.
Doodle Stitching is a book by Aimee Ray, better known as Little Dear by the people who have loved her creative designs on Etsy. Described as "fresh & fun embroidery for beginners", Aimee’s stitches are easy to do, but create a big impact.

Hooray for Embroidery love! Whoohoo! Thanks so much for the links, and for spreading the embroidery goodness. It’s such a fantastic craft: easy, inexpensive, varied in application and style – it just has it all. No wonder I swoon for it.
Cheers!

Thanks for this–I have been meaning to “re-learn” embroidery for awhile (this is SO not like ‘riding a bike’!) and I love the vintage website….heck, I LOVE this website!
I bought my friend Ashleigh an embroidery kit that she had on her Amazon wish list and now she is completely addicted.
