Hallmark greeting cards from your Mac!

Hallmark cards now has a greeting card program Hallmark Card Studio for Mac! (affiliate) It’s been a long time coming and now Mac users can make, print and send their own Hallmark customized cards.  I had the chance to review the product.  Being a new Mac convert I had been used to finding everything I wanted when I had the PC.  I was surprised to learn that this program is new to Mac!

to adding text

and shapes to personalize….

Printing is easy.  There is special Hallmark branded greeting card paper, but I’m old school I guess and just printed on card stock.

Just in time for my birthday!  I could create my own cards!   It’s a fabulous program and easily integrates with Mac’s photo library so you can even create photo cards.    It does leave a little white border around the edge, which you may not like since we are used to the standard card bleed to the edge.  But I think it adds some character.

Of course I love that I didn’t have to leave my home to make a card!  If you are sending your kids to college, this might be a great program for you to create fun surprises for them OR for them to have so they can make cards for friends since driving to the Hallmark store may be out of the question.  This is a great way to keep it personal and still have the Hallmark quality we have come to appreciate!
