If your house is anything like mine, we’re in Halloween over drive. Costume is ready (and may have been worn more than once already). Candy bucket is waiting to be filled. Toddler dreams are filled with dancing pumpkins. The house is covered with Halloween decorations.
Get your kids involved with this fun paper spider craft.
Supplies
- Orange, green, yellow and black construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Markers
- Googly eyes or stickers ~ optional
Create
Cut round spider bodies from the color construction paper, as large or as small as you like. Add eyes to the bodies using markers, googly eyes or stickers.
From the black construction paper cut thin strips, about 1/4″ wide, which will be come the legs. Cut the strips into approximately 4″ long pieces. Starting at one end, fold the paper accordion style. Make enough legs so each spider body will have 8.
On the back of each body, glue 8 legs.
Decorate your house and get in the Halloween spirit.
Happy Halloween!
