On February second a handmade review e-zine called Homespun Oasis made its internet debut. Though Etsy and Artfire shops dominate the reviews, the ladies at Homespun Oasis will try and talk about anything from a custom blog design to a cupcake.
Craftsters and buyers alike will find themselves a bit enamored by Homespun Oasis. The team of writers at Homespun work hard to carefully choose quality handmade shops for review. They choose only shops who are easy to work with, responsive, friendly and who consistently deliver quality products that are well made, beautiful and interesting.
Homespun Oasis says that their purpose is to promote the buying and selling of handmade and upcycled goods. The team has no interest in unkind reviews, so a careful eye is needed when choosing shops to review.
Not only does this review site give their audience a unique insight into the world of handmade mom and pop shops, but they also offer cute bloopers, healthy homemade recipes, go green/save green tips and best of all… lots of FREE STUFF.
That’s right. This site has several handmade give-aways each week. The contests are easy to enter, free and the prizes are fun! You could win anything from a gift certificate to an etsy shop to a body butter to a new hair wrap or wall hanging.
It’s nice to see a site out there with the sole purpose of promoting the hard work of the creative, talented and inspired handmade shops we all love so much.
