There’s not much more exhilarating than a beautiful breezy spring afternoon. I love the way the air smells and the way the warm sun feels on my face. It doesn’t matter what’s screaming to be done in the house, once I get a taste of that weather there’s no getting me inside.
My kids love these days too. They know that their afternoons will be filled with bubble, sidewalk chalk, picnic lunches and best of all-Kite flying.
Last year we decided we’d try to make our own kites. My son’s personality is too unique to fly an ordinary kite, he needed something that displayed his own quirky and colorful personality. So I found these instructions online and they are super easy!
If you do make your own kites, please send some photos along with your child’s name and age and we’ll post them here on Creative Bliss! Send submissions to Sylvia{at}blissfullydomestic{dot}com!

This is a great idea! I was thinking about bringing in kites for my son’s preschool class, but it would be better if they made their own!
