Making Playtime Menus

My girls love to play restaurant, from taking orders to serving trays of pretend food. We have a fun collection of kids’ menus saved from restaurants, but we also like to make our own menus.
Grocery ads are perfect for cutting and gluing to create a menu of favorite foods. Add prices if you like!
We also made a magnetic menu play set. I chose clip art that matches our play food collection, printed the menu items on magnetic printer sheets, and cut them apart. Use a magnet board, cookie sheet, or the fridge to display today’s menu.
Other fun play menu ideas:
- Create theme menus, such as Delaney’s Dessert Diner or Natalie’s Nighttime Nibbles
- Use a small chalkboard to write and draw your menu
- Take photos of your play food meals, print, and give your signature creations fun names
Happy Playing!

What a great idea! The magnetic version would be a great stocking stuffer for my boys.
