A group of these cute pet rock turkeys will be part of our Thanksgiving table centerpiece this year. We’ll let all the grandparents keep one, too!
Supplies:
- rocks, painted brown (acrylic paint works better than tempera for this)
- googly eyes
- assorted colors of felt for feathers, beak, and wattle
- glue
Paint your rocks and let dry. Cut out feathers, beaks, and wattles from felt. I did all the cutting for my girls, but older children could cut their own. You might want to fringe the feathers, too! Glue everything on and let dry – done!
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Very cute! We’ll have to try this next year. We’re done with Thanksgiving in Canada.
LOL. These are too cute! A perfect way to “get rid of” some of the rocks we collect!
