These mini picture books would make great gifts for Grandparents, New Parents, or even attached to a package as an “extra” gift!
You will need:
- 2 pieces of 12×12 scrapbooking paper in a solid and coordinating pattern
- a 6×6 mini album book inner pages
- ribbon
- letters to spell out child’s name (optional)
- pictures
- extra scrapbooking paper to decorate pages, if desired
- adhesive
- sewing machine

I used Making Memories 6 inch x 6 inch mini book inner pages. For this project, you are basically sewing a cover onto the inner pages, then just adding pictures to the book.

First, sew the ribbon onto the outer pages.

Next, cut the patterned scrapbooking paper into two 6 inch x 6 inch squares to make the inside cover. Then sew the inside cover to the outer minibook page (the same one that the ribbon is sewed onto).

Then cut the 12 inch x 12 inch solid scrapbooking paper in half, using one long piece for extra inside pages and the other half for the outside book cover. Sew these on at the same time.

Using adhesive, stick the outer scrapbooking paper that was just sewn on to the outside of the inner book page. This will form a really thick cover for the book and hide where the ribbon was sewn on.

Sew these pieces all together.

Add pictures and decorate the pages however you want.
