Nothing says spring quite like flowers! Follow these four simple steps to make a vibrant paper garden of your own. It’s a fun (not messy!) craft to enjoy with your kids.
-
Paper Flowers – What You’ll Need
- Eight to ten pieces of tissue paper per flower.
- Two pipe cleaners (also called chenille craft pipes) per flower.
-
Paper Flowers – Cut Squares in Step ONE!
Cut the tissue paper into squares. Any size is fine, just keep in mind that the bigger the square, the bigger the flower! I used 8″x8″ squares for the flowers pictured.
-
Paper Flowers – Fold Paper in Step TWO!
Fold the stacked paper back and forth (into an accordion shape) and pinch in the middle.
-
Paper Flowers – Pipe Cleaner Twist in Step THREE!
Wrap the pipe cleaners around the middle and twist to secure and form a stem.
-
Paper Flowers – Fan Flowers in Step FOUR!
Carefully pull apart the tissue paper and fluff into flower shape.
