Glitter! Strings! Let’s make fun art!!!
Supplies for Making Art with String & Glitter
- Sticker paper (8.5 x 11)
- String, multiple colors, cut in 3-4 inch pieces
- Glitter and/or sand
- Tin foil pan or baking pan
Create Art with String & Glitter
Peel the back off the sticker paper. Decorate it with string pieces. Create shapes, fun designs or just place them randomly on the paper. Cover as much or as little of the paper as your child likes.
Put a thin layer of the glitter/sand in the bottom of the tin foil pan. Lay the paper, sticky side down, in the glitter/sand. Move, press and add more glitter/sand if needed, until all of the areas not covered in string are covered in glitter/sand.

This is the fourth in a series of craft projects that I’m sharing. The others in the series include Kaleidoscope Painting, Designing a Baseball Hat and Painting with Rollers. These projects were originally shared at our local art museum, which hosts a monthly art day for kids ages 2-5.

I don’t get it. What is it supposed to be?
It really isn’t supposed to “be” anything. Just a fun craft for kids to exlpore their creativity.
