All you need is some scraps of earth-toned papers and fabric, along with a few rubber stamps to make these creative, colorful place cards for your Thanksgiving table.
You can also improvise. If you don’t have a rubber stamp letter set, you can use a metallic gold marker. If you don’t have dark green card stock, go ahead and use a dark cranberry or bright gold instead.
Other embellishments you can use: feathers, beads, yarn, ribbon, stickers.

THANKSGIVING PLACE CARD MATERIALS:
6″ x 5.25″ piece of dark green card stock
1 piece of lighter green card stock
assorted scraps of earth-toned papers, fabric, or ribbon (try to vary the textures)
leaf rubber stamp
alphabet set of rubber stamps
embossing ink pad
gold embossing powder
heat gun
scissors
adhesive

THANKSGIVING PLACE CARD DIRECTIONS:
1. Fold the card stock in half lengthwise
2. Glue on several small pieces of papers and ribbon to create a pleasing design
3. Tap the leaf rubber stamp on the embossing ink pad
4. Stamp the impression of the leaf on the lighter green card stock
5. Lightly pour some gold embossing powder over the leaf impression on the card stock
6. Tap off excess powder
7. Dry the image with the heat gun until the image is embossed in shiny gold
8. Tear the edges of the leaf image and glue it onto your design
9. Use the alphabet stamp set to stamp your name on the right side of the card (Note: for longer names, you might need to leave space at the bottom of the place card for more letters.)
10. Allow to dry
