Another actor is in trouble for bad behavior due to possible intoxication and some very bad choices. Hunky actor/director Matthew Fox probably wishes he was “lost” on a deserted island somewhere far away right about now!
Best known for his roles in the popular television series’ ‘Party of Five’ and ‘Lost,’ the 45-year-old actor allegedly punched a female bus driver over the weekend while shooting the film ‘I, Alex Cross’ with Tyler Perry and Cicely Tyson in Ohio.
Heather Bormann, a chartered bus driver for Ohio Connection, was parked near the Shooters bar early Sunday morning when Fox asked her to drive him to his hotel. Bormann told Fox he was not part of the private party and refused to let him board the bus. “I told him three times. He never said a word. He just looked at me.”
Fox allegedly started throwing punches, hitting Bormann in the chest and stomach areas. Acting in self-defense, she punched Fox in the mouth, resulting in a cut on his lip and a wrist injury to her. Bormann told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that the actor “smelled like a liquor cabinet.”
Several people, including an off-duty police officer, detained the star until authorities arrived. Fox was later released. Bormann filed assault charges against the actor on Tuesday afternoon. With photographs of Bormann’s injuries, the Cleveland City Prosecutor’s Office began interviewing witnesses today. According to Mayor Frank Jackson’s Press Secretary, Andrea Taylor, “The prosecutor’s office is reviewing the matter and they have now started interviewing witnesses.”
Born in Pennsylvania in 1966, Fox grew up on a ranch in Crowheart, Wyoming. Fox played football at Columbia University and graduated with a degree in economics. Named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World in 1996 by People magazine, Fox began his career modeling, which eventually led to television commercials. Fox married Margherita Ronchi in1991. The couple has several children.
Besides ‘I, Alex Cross,’ Fox is also starring in the horror flick ‘World War Z.’ While Fox is accused of assaulting an unarmed woman, his co-star on the film, Brad Pitt, has also made news recently as a real-life action hero for rescuing a female extra from being trampled on the set of the film.
