Hey! Remember me? Janelle, from 5 minutes till Normal? I took a long break, mainly because our celebrities have been so boring.

No major breakdowns.

No divorces.

No running around the streets naked.

But we did have a wedding this past weekend. Fergie and her man got  hitched! And Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady are finally engaged.

Weren’t rumors flying around at Christmas that those two crazy kids had gotten engaged? Why are they saying that they just got engaged this past weekend?  I’m not buying it. I believe that Santa brought Gisele a nice big fat diamond for Christmas and she is now ready to wear it out in public.

Of course, on a sadder note  John Travolta and Kelly Preston‘s son Jett passed away at age 16  from a seizure disorder. My heart breaks for them and I would imagine that after the dust has settled, John and Kelly will start up some foundation/ research program in their son’s honor that will hopefully help other children with this disorder.

Did any of you see Patrick Swayze’s interview with Barbara Walters? I think that I was only the only one in America who did NOT see it. My DVR said that is recording 20/20 and the Patrick Swayze interview but when I went to watch, it was some murder mystery!   Guhh!   I still haven’t looked for it online yet.   But I will.

OK, onto a lighter note.

I watched VH1′s Confessions of a Teen Idol last night.  Wow! The only ones that I knew were Eric from the original Real World and Jamie Walters. Eric reminds me of Matthew McConaughey‘s character from Dazed and Confused. You know, *I keep getting older, but the girls stay the same age.* Jamie just looked like he didn’t want to be there, period. Also, Jamie had a hit song with “How Do You Talk to an Angel” and was the lead in another 90210 type show, The Heights .  Anyone remember that show?   Why is he only being credited for being  on 90210? It’s not like he was in the opening scenes high fiving or falling into Kelly’s  arms with his leg flying in the sky. From what I gathered last night, he is now a fireman.   Wait. Didn’t he push Donna down the stairs on 90210?
