Kris Allen (The Way You Look Tonight): This was the hubby and my first dance at our wedding so I have a special fondness in my heart for this song. And I would have loved this version. Weird facial hair aside, I absolutely loved it. I think this was one of his best performances and he has had a ton of them. Great, great job. The judges were all blown away except Simon who actually sounded like Paula and made little sense. Something about Kris sounding wet and being like a cocker spaniel. Whatever…he was awesome.

Alison Iraheta (Someone To Watch Over Me): Again, I just love this song. It is one of my all time favorites. To be honest, I worried for her tonight in this genre, but she really impressed me. Toned everything down, looked amazing. The whole thing was very Kelly Clarkson-esque. Once again the judges all loved her except Simon. Who is he listening to? He gave it a 7/10 and said she might be going home. Seriously? I thought it was one of her best performances by far.

Matt Girard (My Funny Valentine): I am surprised he isn’t behind the piano; this seems like a logical week for him to do that. Anyway, I thought the beginning was weak. And I think it was because of Jamie Foxx’s advice. I think the key was too low. But I really liked the end. I am just a little disappointed because I think he could have really done amazing and I think he got bad advice. Paula and Simon disagreed with me and thought it was brilliant. Again, I hope America pulls him through cause he is one of my faves.

Danny Gokey (Come Rain or Come Shine): Every time I think Danny can’t get any better, he just does. Michael Bubble ain’t got nothing on that performance. We got tenderness at the beginning and then a fantastic ending that was by far the high point of the show so far. Just an absolutely brilliant performance. The judges were finally unanimous. They all loved it. See ya in the finale.

Adam Lambert (Feeling Good): Once again, a very solid performance. I thought he tapped into his musical theatre side for this one and it paid off. He never bores us, that is for sure. The judges loved him as usual. See ya in the finale as well.

I thought the night belonged to Danny. My prediction is that Matt or Alison will be leaving us. What do you think?
