Comedian Bernie Mac passed away in Chicago due to complications from pneumonia.  The award winning comedian had been suffering from pneumonia and reports had been made that he was improving.

Bernie started back in the late 70′s working clubs and eventually won acclaim with his talent in such movies as the Ocean’s 11,12&13 movies, Charlie’s Angels, and Guess Who.  Bernie also had a television show that bared his name that ran from 2000-2006.

Bernie has suffered for years from sarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation of the organs.  He never let the disease define him or make a difference in his lifestyle.

Bernie is survived by his wife, daughter and granddaughter.  He will be greatly missed by family, friends and the fans who followed his work.  Prayers and our deepest condolences go to every his life touched.
