What an episode! Emotions run high for the men and for Jillian as she finds that weeding out an unsuitable match is tough! Plus, could you pick out a trouble-maker before it was too late? On to the re-cap.
The show starts off with Ed (Greg Brady lookalike) getting the one-on-one date. Jillian has said she is very attracted to the premiere’s late-comer and the chemistry is apparent as they take off in a helicopter ride over L.A. Landing atop a building, the only way down is to propel down a wire to a swimming pool below. Ed admits he’s scared to death, but proves he’s up for adventure. After smooching in the pool, they have a romantic dinner and a nice, easy chat. Jillian gives him a rose and Ed’s belongings are moved to her mansion, while the gawkers back at the bunkhouse watch jealously.
Later in the episode we find ourselves in the “Wild Wild West” where 11 men and Jillian are to shoot a movie on a Hollywood set. Donning cowboy hats, fringe, and some leopard-meets the Flintstones attire, two of the men find that they’re actually scripted as lovers, while the rest get kissing scenes with Jillian!! After an awkward, “like kissing his sister,” moment from Brad, Jillian has a more romantic moment with Robby that goes beyond acting.

Enter Wes, the country crooner, whisking Jill away from the crowd. He tells her he’s jealous of her smooching the other guys, and acts like because he’d been living in the mansion for the past few days, that he’d won already. The more I hear the song he’s written for Jillian, and the more he talks about it, and plays it, it becomes more annoying and not making him look good at all. Serenading her comes off as deliberate and if he is only looking for a recording contract, I hope his other tunes are worthy.
The date ends with a mass-hot tub party and creepy Tanner P. talking incessantly about sucking her toes. Hold on while I vomit a little. Quiet, but cute bartender, Robby wins the date rose in the end.
Sasha is invited on the last one-on-one date this episode and off to the Automotive Museum they go via Ferrari! Jillian is clad in a denim onesie, and the couple take some hot photographs then enjoy dinner. After a heart-warming-near-death story about his life, Sasha is jilted by Jillian, she claims he hasn’t had too much experience in relationships. Just as I thought she couldn’t turn anyone down face-to-face.
Now back at the mansion, Dave is drinking heavily and his demeanor is scary. Please Jillian, for the love of romance, this guy is major trouble! Yelling at Juan and calling him names is so high school. I could easily see it from day one, but she has said she likes the ‘bad boys.’
The lucky 13 given a rose were, Jake, Reid, Mark, Jesse, Tanner P, Wes, Ed, Robby, Juan, Michael, Kiptyn, Mike, and Dave. Yes, I said Dave! Maybe it will be easier to let him go later, but DAVE?! Anyone else rooting for Michael the break-dancer!? Hmm…hope she chooses him for a one-on-one next week!

I think the break dancer would be a fun friend, but I don’t know if he and Jillian would hit it off. I’m loving Jake, but I wonder if he’s too good for her. My second favorite is Kiptyn. And I’m intrigued by Reid, Mark, and Robby. I think Ed might be near the end, too. Yes, Dave is a punk. Get him off the show!!!
