Monday’s show was the dance show of the final.  We are down to Brooke, Warren and Lance as the 3 remaining stars vying for the trophy.  All three couples danced the Samba in a same dance competition for round one.  Next in round two the couples danced freestyle and were given more leeway to choose style and dance components.  The couples will dance one more time Tuesday, with their votes making up half the scores.

Samba:
Brooke and Derek’s dance was great and the scores came in at 28 with Bruno being the 10.  Len said she was the one to beat.  Once again!

Lance and Lacey’s score was 26 with Len giving them an 8.  He is still not the fan of his style, though they always give the best performance in my opinion.

Warren and Kym’s score was 25 because Len gave them a 7.  He picked on Warren’s footwork but overall liked the performance.  Carrie Ann called him the most improved over the season.

Freestyle:

I loved all the freestyle performances, but Brooke and Derek gave us a perfect 30 performance.  Lots of tricks, lifts, and great fun.  The judges obviously loved it and Len said it was the best freestyle he’d ever seen.

Lance and Lacey gave what Bruno called a youthful and vibrant performance.  It was fun to watch the hip hop with a little cha cha thrown in there.  Their score, a 27.

Warren and Kym definitely brought fun to the dance floor with lifts, more lifts and pure energy Tina Turner style.  Not sure there was much dancing, but it was enjoyable enough to get a 28 with a 10 from …Len?
