It’s true, ladies, David Cook is back on the market again.  People Magazine is reporting that his relationship with second season contestant Kimberly Caldwell ended amicably, and ended just before the holidays. Cook was the season seven winner and the news breaks as Idol season eight gets underway.

Their romance started when Cook asked Caldwell out on the red carpet before last year’s season finale.  The two have been dating since that date in May 2008.   And now another bachelor on the market.  Get in line, ladies.
