The Quotes
- I’m a little psychic. I can’t read minds or anything yet, but I have a sixth sense.
- We just pushed it back a few hours. Now it doesn’t have to take place in daylight.
- I’m gonna hug you now.
- Yes. Puck is the father.
- All you did is what I wasn’t brave enough to do: tell the truth.
- Bring it on, William. I have a feeling you’ll be adding revenge to a long list of things you’re no good at. . . . Love ya like a sister.
- Sometimes being special sucks.
- What happened to the white guy with the Jheri curl?
- I don’t know what you’re talking about. Don’t Stop Believing is the most downloaded song ever on iTunes. (Ha!!)
- Well, I do have something I’ve been working on since I was four.
- This is your chance. Don’t screw it up.
- Show time.
- They weren’t singing; they were, like, honking.
- I just left my wife.
- As of today, you are no longer coach of the Cheerios.
My Thoughts
- I love the way the kids cheered for Mercedes when she sang. And good for Rachel, admitting that Mercedes rocked it!
- This show gives us some great visuals. This episode’s scene that struck me was when Rachel sat down by Quinn. Their lovely faces, their blue outfits and that fake wood paneling painted a pretty picture.
- You GO, Emma! I was so glad that she finally grew a backbone in this episode – both at sectionals and then when she talked to Will at her reception.
- Ohhh, I’m so jealous of their costumes! Much cuter than the tux shirt, bowtie and cummerbund I had to wear in show choir.
- I don’t understand the competition rules. How is a solo considered a choral piece?
- I think my face looked as ridiculous as Will’s during the performance, tears and all – and I know this isn’t real!
- That is the most ridiculous trophy I’ve ever seen.
And scene. After watching joyously as the New Directions won sectionals and the principal finally put Sue back in her place, we’re left with Will running after Emma.
I believe that marriage is forever, so I’m not thrilled with this turn of events. But what about you? Did you like this “fall finale,” as they’re calling the last episode until April? Are you excited to see a relationship blossom between Will and Emma? What do you think will happen with Puck, Finn and Quinn?

I loved it! I really like Will and Emma as a couple & My Life would Suck Without You was so good! I’m glad Will and Emma didn’t hook up at her non-Wedding though.

I love Glee soooooooo much!!!! I’m actually glad Will left his wife for now….lying just isn’t okay…and I feel like she more than lied! I’m also glad that Quinn and Finn are hopefully over…again because lying isn’t okay!!!! But…I am not happy to wait until April for more Glee!!!

This was one of my favorite episodes! (I’ve already re-watched their performances at sectionals again.) Rachel blew her performance out of the water!! And I can’t wait to see Will and Emma (she’s from my small town) together!
I’m disapointed that we have to wait so long for more episodes!!
Loved this episode, too and have watched it twice already! ha!
I’m okay with their marriage ending (since it’s a tv show and all) because it was set up for failure from the beginning with all the fake pregnancy and ridiculousness of that. I’m totally with you on marriage being forever and they shouldn’t portray it that way on TV, I guess, but I will admit I have been routing for Shu and Emma. And I’m so glad that Sue was fired/ suspended, but that was a little too neat of an ending. I liked it anyway- and that she was going to brown up in Boca!
Loved it all! Thanks for the recap to remind me. I’ll be crying until April!
Mercedes makes me wish I was black! Love that show. Love your take.
