This week on Jon and Kate Plus 8,  now I sound like the kids at the beginning of the show, Jon took Cara and the boys to see a Phillies game. 

While Kate and the rest of the crew hung out at home and had a nice relaxing evening with a movie and some popcorn, Jon headed over to Citizens Park to catch a game.  The kids could barely contain themselves, they were so excited. 

Once they reached the park they were greeted by the wife of Manager Charlie Manuel, Melissa.  She is a huge fan of the show.  Jon and the kids were given jerseys, with their names on the back and hats.  This was huge hit for the kids.  They were then taken to one of the sky boxes to view the game.

While in the sky box they got to munch on great game time snacks suck as hot dogs and cheese fries.  Jon was quick to point out that Kate probably would frown on this but it was a night a the ballpark so how could you pass it up.

They also got to meet the President of the Phillies and center fielder Shane Victorino.  Shane gave Jon and the kids an autographed bat.  I am willing to bet Jon slept with the bat that night he was so jazzed.

The kids got to run on the field and circle the bases after the game was over.  They even got to meet Charlie and had their photo taken with him.

The Philly Fanatic was a huge hit with the kids.  They loved him.  I was laughing so hard when they were sticking their hands in his nose.  Too cute.

For a first Major League Baseball game for the family, I think this could not have gone better.
