So, this afternoon I’ve been hard at work – laptop open, iTunes playing a nice little rotation of my music library when “The Kill” by 30 Seconds To Mars came on. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this band, it’s fronted by Jared Leto. If that doesn’t ring a bell… Does anyone remember the name: Jordan Catalano?
I had a HUGE crush on Jared Leto during his run on “My So Called Life”. It didn’t hurt that he was a brooding, musical guy (I mean, c’mon, who doesn’t love the brooding musical guy?). And even now, when the show has been off the air for over ten years, I still think, “Siiiiiiiigh. He was SO CUTE.”
Unfortunately, I didn’t really outgrow my love for drooling over good looking celebrities. I think Jack Johnson is beautiful (another man with a guitar – pattern? Hmmm) and Wentworth Miller from Prison Break? Whoa nelly.

But it’s not just me. Last night, my husband paused and stared at the cover of my new issue of Marie Claire for quite some time before I realized, “Oh yeah, Jessica Simpson is on the cover.” He also has a thing for Giada DeLaurentiis from the Food Network (only, embarassingly enough, the nickname for her in our house is “Gi-hotta”). While I can necessarily condone the Jessica-love thing (I still can’t get past the whole “buffalo don’t have wings” fiasco), at least Giada can cook.

I have had a thing for Leonardo DiCaprio eversince he was on Growing Pains in the 80′s. My hubby knows about it and has been known to buy me some of his movies on special ocassions (Valentine’s, my b-day, etc…). He also has a thing for Giada…and has moved from liking Shania Twain to liking Ann Hathaway. I agree though. You are never to old for a Celeb Crush. Sometimes I get in those *Leo* moods and will pop in a movie of his after the kids go down for bed (some of his movies aren’t kid friendly). **Sigh** Gotta have my Leo fix from time to time

For me, it’s Bruce Willis. I love him.
And for The Man, he’s a Britney Spears fan. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that for him but he’s secure in his crush.
Chris Isaak is at the top of my secret boyfriend list, and my husband knows that if he ever showed up on our doorstep and asked me to run away with him, I’d go, no questions asked! LOL Anyone who can sing and play guitar like that, and looks like that, too – mmm, he’s just too much. Not to worry, though, my husband has his secret girlfriend list (although I guess it’s not much of a secret if we tell each other, is it?). Uma Thurman is one of his favorites.
