There is nothing like listening to a new song, especially a good one. In June the Stars released their latest album, “The Five Ghosts “, and I like what I hear. While many of their songs are good, Fixed has been getting the most airplay on my iPod.

Fixed is a great mix of sounds and lyrics that entwines your ears as well as your heart. Amy Millans amazingly airy vocals are an instant crowd pleaser in this song. It was a definite love at first listen. While some are quick to label their sound as pop, in my mind they are an Indie band all the way. Give it a listen and let me know what you think!

While the band wrote and recorder their latest album in Montreal, they will begin their world wide tour on July 16th. I am looking forward to seeing them in Chicago at Lollapalooza on August 7th.
