If you’re headed out for an exciting night at the movies tonight, here are some of the newer releases that will be appearing.

Tropic Thunder is an action and comedy movie starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., and many more. In the movie, a movie is being made where a group of actors portray soldiers. However, certain situations occur (no spoilers) and by the end of the movie, they forced to actually be the soldiers and defend themselves. The movie runs for 107 min. If you’re a big Jack Black or Ben Stiller fan, you will probably enjoy it.
You could also see Mirrors starring Kiefer Sutherland and Paula Patton. Mirrors is a horror and thriller movie about a former cop and his family that happen to be the target of a force of evil that is using mirrors in their home as a gateway to them. The previews of the movie have been very interesting. However, I am terrified of horror movies, but if you love the thrill of them, this could be one for you. However, it is rated R due to the disturbing images that occur throughout the movie.

I’m disappointed that you’re promoting Tropic Thunder given all the issues being raised in the special needs community. A heads-up about the abhorrant discriminatory language should definitely have been included in this recommendation.
Every time I see that picture of Robert Downy Jr. I do a double take. I still can not believe that is him!! LOL
I completely agree about Tropic Thunder. Someone should post about NOT seeing it. I will not be seeing it nor will I be apt to support the actors, directors, etc. that are associated with it. No one deserves that!

Mirrors scares the stuffing out of me. Everytime a preview comes on I change the channel. I am a whimp like that.
