In an effort to have the girls let their hair down and open up, Jason asks them to write and perform a love song for him to earn the infamous one-on-one date! Stephanie, the widowed mom of Sophia, makes a move with what starts out like a sexy blues song. Unfortunately she hits a cracking, operatic high note, and ruins her chance completely. Nikki, setting herself up for failure, went into a hysterical bawling session about being a control-freak and she cannot be silly, and cannot follow through on the song. Flashing to her at every chance, I swore the cameraman was going to follow her to the restroom where she’d lose her cookies. But luckily, her lullabye (for a future child) was pretty good! Girl, relax and cut yourself some slack!
After all the songs, Jason chose Molly‘s ode to Nuggets and Fries, and comments that she included him in the duet. This is where we see Lauren going all out to claim that her song was the best and everyone else’s songs sucked, harsh!

So Molly wins the one-on-one date with Jason and it’s spent at his place over burgers, fries, and beer. What no nuggets? Later they change into comfy clothes (read: she wears his) and they walk outside to a tent, fire, and s’mores. Molly’s a doll, don’t get me wrong, but the tell-him-what-he-wants-to-hear speech is so old, I wince a little fearing these girls don’t have any else to give. Apparently Jason felt the opposite of me and invited Molly to spend the night with him and gave her a rose. Coming back to the house after an all-nighter has Molly glowing and the others glaring, if looks could kill!
After leaving the set, the group went to their own wrap party that seemed like a weep-fest, weakening the confidences of many. Shannon’s broken record of “please keep me, please keep me” was embarrassing. It’s obvious that Jason is getting tired of her pleas. Have you no shame, sweetie? True love doesn’t come from begging.

At the end of the date, Jason gives Naomi the rose, telling her alone that he really has a bond with her! You know I’m really feeling it with them more and more too!

Though feeling like Cinderella was at the ball with her prince and wicked-step-sister, Stephanie plays it cool, dances like a princess, and snags the rose for the evening. The kiss at the end of their date hopefully was filled with the sparks that Jason was hoping to find in her!
The most dramatic rose ceremony yet has Jason changing up the rules a bit. Having 3 roses to give to 5 ladies, he chooses his first two contenders and hesitates. He CANNOT give any of the 3 ladies left the rose. He doesn’t want to lead anyone on further, nor does he feel they are the right match for him. He says goodbye to Megan, Lauren, and Shannon (I KNOW, finally).
Heading to Seattle next week, Jason is left with Stephanie, Naomi, Molly, Melissa, and Jillian. This is the episode I believe that DeAnna shows her silly head. Honestly I don’t think she still pines for him, but it sure will make the final five women squirm!

Why do they have to say “The most dramatic rose ceremony yet!”? Isn’t that line a little played out?
Visiting from MamaKat’s!
Buh-bye, Shannon!
I’m sure Shannon will find someone else to stalk!
This show is kind of painful to watch. I was looking forward to it and it is disappointing. I feel like he could be down to Melissa and Naomi in the final two. I was so happy he ditched Shannon and Lauren…
Good recap
I enjoyed this weeks show and saying BYE BYE to PSYCHO SHANNON!
