Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story is a powerful movie about the will to succeed against the odds. It airs on Saturday February 7, 8/7c on TNT this weekend. It is based on the true story of Dr. Benjamin S. Carson, who overcame all obstacles to become the director of pediatric neurosurgery at John Hopkins Children’s center, a best selling author, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The movie shows the power of a mother’s love and support and how that can change a child’s life.
It was truly a moving story about a young boy who struggled but eventually learned to believe in himself. Cuba Gooding Jr. is wonderful in the lead role. A testament to what the power of love and the power of positive thinking can accomplish!
