If you’re looking forward to seeing a new movie this weekend, there are a few new releases coming your way.
Step Brothers is a comedy starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. The duo are teaming up again after their appearances together in Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. In Step Brothers, the duo play a set of best friends who still live with their single parents as adults. At some point, their parents decide to get married, the men are forced to move in together with the parents, and even share a room. I realize this movie may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but these two men make me laugh until I cry with their comedy. The movie is slated to last around 95 minutes. You can watch the trailer here.
Additionally, the long awaited X-Files movie is on this weekend. The movie is called, ‘The X-Files: I want to Believe‘. The stars from the original television show, David Duchovney and Gillian Anderson, return to their shows. The movie is said to be a continuation that will pick up where the series left off when it went off the air six years ago. The movie is PG-13 and set to run around 104 minutes. I was never a big X-Files fan, but this movie should be exciting for those who were. The trailer can be seen here.

If you love musicals, Mama Mia made it’s debut in movie theaters last weekend. The movies stars Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Amanda Seyfried (from Big Love), Pierce Brosnan, and many more. Personally, I found the movie enjoyable and really liked it. But I have a crazy passion for musicals, and ABBA. Either way, I would recommend it. I saw it last weekend, and it was fabulous. You can watch the trailer here.
If you make it to the movies, let us know what you think of them in the comments section.

OMG… I loved Mamma Mia! It was so great! I laughed, cried… giggled… sang! And I wasn’t alone! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a movie where the audience applauded, sang, and all out belly laughed! It was a great flick! My mom loved it too! Great for all generations!
The X-Files movie didn’t pick up where the series left off six years ago — it was in real time, six years later.
