Photography can be about capturing feeling and emotion.

In honor of Valentine’s Day here are a few tips on taking romantic photos of couples.

• First get to know your subjects. By getting to know a little bit about them you and they can be more comfortable, allowing for a more natural look and feeling to your photos.

• Not all props are cheesy. Sometime they can help capture a romantic gesture.

• Lighting can make a simple photo more romantic. By shooting during sunset you can take silhouette photos.

• Sometimes snapping pictures between poses can get you some romantic pictures. I always find laughter very romantic.

• The editing process can also help give a regular photo a more romantic feel.
