What I had in my camera bag on a recent morning before I went to photograph nature.

What I actually took on my shoot (in a small bag), because it’s all I thought I could reasonably need.

And you know what? I didn’t use any of it. All I ended up needing was the lens on my camera.
If you need more stuff, by all means take it. Otherwise, consider leaving it in the camera bag in the car. Trust me. Your back will thank you.

Great advice. I always end up taking more than I need, and very rarely do I use any of it.

My burning question is this: Do you ever get frustrated by how dark your pictures turn out, even when you try to adjust with exposure shift?
