Shutterfly is known for great service with photo printing, but did you know they offer fabulous photo books? Our editors recently got the chance to create a book of their own. They raved about the quality! In addition you have the ability to personalize each page, as well as the front and back cover making this a one of a kind creation. Shutterfly is also known for their service.
Sarah, our Family Editor created a book for her 365 Photography project. She had used the service at Shutterfly before, and couldn’t wait to compile her year in photos into one bound treasure.

I was so terribly excited to have all my pictures in one place, and that I’d be receiving them in a book – and then when Shutterfly asked me to do a review, I was glad to – because I was already prepared to buy this book – it was, in fact, already in my shopping cart waiting for me to click “Purchase”. I was already familiar with the ease of use of their photo book system, and the quality of the product. How often do you get the opportunity to talk about a brand you ALREADY LIKE?
Malia, our Relationships Editor, created a book for her sister’s wedding. What a great idea and a fabulous gift for any occasion.
My sister got married back in August and like the scenario I mentioned earlier, her pictures are all over the place. I gathered up several of my favorites and created an album for her and my new brother-in-law.

I really want to do a book for my niece who is getting married soon. She will have two professional photographers at her wedding but I’m hoping to capture a few they don’t.
I would like to give a book to each of my four children. They would each have special pages just for them as well as pages of their friends and family.
I will also create one for my husband and mother….a compilation of each of the childrens books with some additional family photos.
I’d better get going! i have thousands of pictures to go through!
I would love to make one of these and give it to my mom as a gift!!
I will make a book for our family beach trip and get copies for all of my sisters and mom
I would love to make one for my parents and in-laws of my wedding. Two days after we tied the knot we moved 2200 miles away for work. At least once a month my mom asks me when I am going to make her one of these. If I win I won’t have any more excuses:)
I would make a book of our four children and give them to grandparents.
I would love to make a set of books. I would give one to each grandparent and one to my sister and her hubby and one to my brother in law and his wife. It would be an awesome gift for them. Since we don’t get to see but half of our family throughout the year.
Oh cool! I love making photo books. My baby sister got married at the end of October & did photos for her. I’d love to make one in to a wedding album for her. I would also make one in to a gift for my MIL with photos of her grandchildren. One would probably end up as a gift for the woman I babysit for. And perhaps the last would just be for me.
I just subscribed to the newsletter. Neat!
It would be hard to decide who to make a book for…the grandparents top the list – my kids could help me choose all the pictures that we could put in the book and we could include ALL the grandchildren. Soccer coach and teacher also come to mind (from the whole class/team)- the class or team could sign the pages before we give to the coach or teacher.
My daughter is turning ONE next month, so I’d love to make a compilation of her photos from birth until 1 year for the Grandparents for Christmas. Thanks for the opportunity!
I would love to make a book of photos from this year for my husband. I’ve been too busy to scrapbook and haven’t had the chance to get photos printed anyway! Thanks for the chance to win!
I am a newsletter subscriber. (Love it, by the way!)
I would make one for my mom for Christmas. A 2009 one of all the things we did this year.
Our first anniversary is coming up, and I *still* don’t have the wedding scrapbook done…I’d love to put together some of the best/our favorite photos in a book for my mom.
My father-in-law has been reactivated and is being sent to Afghanistan (again), this time for nine months (which is only slightly better than the year he was there the last time!).
He was getting ready to turn in his retirement papers so this is very unexpected. It almost goes without saying that I would create a book for him to bring over there.
I would also create a book for my new mother-in-law. They got married a little over a year ago and have hardly had the time to start building their lives together.
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law would receive the last two books. The first deployment was hard on everyone — and we knew that one was coming long before it happened.
I would love for them to have a beautiful way to remember the GOOD times when things seem particularly discouraging and bleak, the days when we find out about yet another bombing or shooting and yet another fallen soldier. To have a reminder about how much fun we all had when we were together, the very many celebrations: the reunions, the anniversaries, the weddings, the holidays, and births.
With their father leaving soon after the holidays, it will be doubly hard on everyone, especially the grandkids.
He is leaving behind our newborn son, our 4 year old son, and my sister-in-law’s 2 year old son, who all think grandpa is the biggest hero ever. And they are right.
How fun!! I would love this. It would make a great gift for the grandparents. We have a new baby in the house and it would be great to compile all those First Year photos for them as a gift this year!!
I would make a baby book for the grandparents. And one for myself, of course!

My daughter turns one this month; I would definitely make her a first year photo book. Such magical memories. Great giveaway. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
Thanks!
What would I make? I would make a couple books for my Mom and my Mother in law. I have five kiddos and I know they miss them a ton. A book like these would such a great gift for both of them!!
Awesome giveaway!!
Thanks!!
I would make recipe books for my family members. Since I moved away, I have learned a lot of new recipes and would love to share them in a nice package!
I would make these for my children’s birthfamilies!
I would do one for my mother in law with pictures of her grandchildren.
I want to make a book for each of my four daughters, ages 6-16. We went on a road trip this summer, and we had so much fun together. We have a lot of fun photos from that trip, but I want them to be more than just fun photos – I want each of the photos to be special memories for my girls when they grow up.
I also want to start making an annual book for my parents, with a collection of photos of all the grandkids.
And finally, I had a very special soldier in my life. He was first a high school sweetheart, then someone who was there for me when I needed him most. I don’t know where he is now, but I have a lot of special photos (and memories that go with them) that deserve much more than a photo album.
(I could come up with more, lol)
I would make a book chronicling my son’s first year of homeschool… way better than a generic “yearbook”! I’ve heard the Shutterfly books rock, hoping to get the chance to try it out!
I would love to make one for my sister with new pictures of her new daughter and 13 year old daughter together.
We do a yearly photobook of our favorite photos from the past year. I would love to try out Shutterfly for ours this year!
What a fabulous giveaway! Last year I gave my mom a photo book and I was surprised how much she liked it. I’d love to do it again.
Plus I’d love to do one of our family vacation this past year. I have years of digital pictures on the external hard drive – I could easily come up with four books!
I have the book in the works already! A blog-book, but I can’t say any more as it’s for a gift and you never know whose out there reading this!
I’ve been totally wanting to make one of these for my newborn highlighting all of his milestones…so fun!
I subscribe
I would use snapfish to create a chronicle of our 11 years of marriage and 5 children as we begin a new chapter of our lives…leaving Kentucky and moving to Ohio!
I love to do these for my inlaws and my parents. They are memories they cherish forever, and since they don’t live near us, it makes them feel included even when they aren’t around.
I would use the hardcover to (finally) put together our wedding album, then I’d probably make albums for my sister and my best friend of our best memories together. ^_^
Current Blissfully Domestic subscriber ^_^
I would make one book for one of each of my four sons, with pictures of them since they were babies. I made something like that for my oldest son long ago, and his brothers have been jealous ever since!
making a book of my 365 photos sounds like a great idea. or i might just make one for the grandparents of the kidlets.
I would FINALLY create an album with all of my wedding pictures so that I could just flip thru it whenever I wanted to…that was a PERFECT day.
I am already a subscriber – Thanks!
We got married in July of 2008 and have a ton of pictures from our wedding, but have never gotten around to making books for our parents and family members.
I know how much they would appreciate them, I just haven’t had the energy or the money to do it, because my grandmother (who I was very close to) passed away soon after my wedding, then I was laid off from my job and my husband is in graduate school (so we don’t have a lot of money coming in), and now my dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
I would really appreciate being able to give our parents and siblings photo books! I am also already a subscriber to Blissfully Domestic! Thanks!
I’d love to make a book of my photography and pair it with some of the essays I’ve written!
I already subscribe to the newsletter!
i have always wanted to make a “grandma’s brag book” for my mom. this would be wonderful (and much better than anything i could do on my own).
I’d love to compile the pictures of our new baby to send to my parents, who don’t get to see him very often.
This would make a great gift for Nana- she lives so far from all her grandkids, she’d love a book!
